TERM 1

Working to the end of term 1 and what a full term we've had.

The students in Room 24 have had a great start to the year. Term 1 is at an end and they have all worked to a level that I'm proud of.  We've accomplished a lot this term - Powhiri to welcome the new students to our school, visits to the Aquarium and Butterfly Museum, performing a Sasa to the whole school, hosting assembly and not to mention the Camp at Berwick. In class we've worked on our numeracy skills, report writing, investigating the features of the rocky shore and adaptations of creatures. We've swum, participated in drama, sung and ran.

Term 2 see's the return of the Science Fair, NZ music month and many other exciting and full on  activities. I hope you all have a great and safe holiday. See you next term,

Mr Herden
