Stunning Day Out!

The Year 7 classes have finished the term with the focus on fitness as part of our Hauora health unit. Throughout this week each syndicate has had a day out walking over the Pineapple track and into Ross Creek.

We were lucky to have the great weather to complete our tramps over the Pineapple track this week.  We began our tramp from the Bull ring winding our way to the top of the lookout for our first stop for morning tea. The views over the city were amazing and the students spent some time looking for landmarks around the city. Many of our students had not walked over the Pineapple Track and through McGouns to the bottom so now they know the track they will able to take their families out! After a lunch stop at Ross Creek Reservoir we headed down to the waterfall before heading back to school via the track out to John McGlashan.

Mauruuru roa to all of the parents and caregivers who came and walked with us!
