Gratitude and appreciation.

Kia ora e te whānau!

Welcome to our final newsletter of the year. It's a time to ackowledge the amazing efforts of the Balmacewen whānau, staff, children and families in making 2023 an excellent year.

We are a busy and dynamic school. We bounce along throughout the year with many events and highlights that create the overall tone and culture of our school. We continually seek to provide new and challenging programmes to help our young people learn and grow. The energy that all our staff put into daily life at Balmacewen is impressive. The passion, care and teamwork of our staff really makes our school a special place. Thank you to the entire Balmacewen team for their outstanding efforts.

A special thank you to all our parent helpers this year. Camps, trips, sports teams, your time and energy is greatly appreciated. Simply, without your support, many of our activities could not take place. We can't do it without you!

To our wonderful Balmacewen students,  I say thank you. Your energy and enthusiasm never ceases to amaze. Especially, I wish our departing Year 8 students all the very best for high school next year. There have been many highlights throughout the year and I hope you will take good memories as you move onto your next schooling chapter.

Here's wishing you and all the Balmacewen community a very Merry Christmas and a happy and safe hoilday season.
