Life is like a roller coaster with it's ups and downs! Check out some of Room 6 Emotion poems.

Fear is blood rushing through your body quick like an F1 driver.

Fear is your body anxious and numb.

Fear is being nervous that someone or something will hurt you.

Fear is like forgetting everything and focusing on the one thing that scares you the most.

Fear is the taste of nothing because your whole body is numb and pale in fear.

Fear is pure white like a pale face nervous and feared.

Fear is the smell of burnt toasters like your body burnt inside.

Playfulness is a warm, hearty magenta geyser, spouting cheekiness into your consciousness.

Playfulness is two energetic lion cubs, frolicking and and tussling in the thick Savannah grass.

Playfulness is the icy slap of a bursting water balloon on the back of your neck, sending trickles of arctic water down your spine while your face twists into an uncontrollable grin of revenge.

Playfulness is the fluffy white cream coating your face thickly, your tongue lapping furiously at the soft sweet substance.

Playfulness is the crazed giggles of two young siblings stampeding loudly around the house in an incredible and intense game of tag.

Playfulness is the gentle, soothing and super tempting aroma of freshly baked donuts, and the sugar rush that they promise.

Allow playfulness to enter your mind, and the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is yours to keep.

Despair is blue as the deepest trench in the ocean. The colour of rain hammering and pounding down constantly, drowning you in your sadness,

The rain will never slow,

Despair tastes like salty beach waves in the middle of a tsunami, knocking you down, sweeping you off your feet, and forcing burning salt water down your throat,

The waves will never stop,

Despair feels like every inch of you is being roasted, like a slaughtered pig, above a scorching, sizzling, screaming fire, and all you can do is weep in your sorrow,

The fire will never end,

Despair sounds like loneliness and emptiness. Like the whole world died in the zombie apocalypse, and you were left behind as the last man on earth, with no one to keep you company, and everything you ever knew lay in a heap of smoking rubble.

You will never hear anyone speak again,

Despair looks like a shark about to tear you from limb to limb, and you want to run, you want to swim, you want to scream, but your troubles are weighing you down,

You will never escape.

If you let it, Despair will swallow you whole,

Happiness is the colour yellow shining proud.

Happiness tastes like getting an ice cream on a hot summer's day melting as quickly as you try and lick it .

Happiness sounds like kids shouting in a park as they slide down the slide and pop up and down on the seesaw .

Happiness feels like butterflies building up inside your stomach when you score the winning try in rugby.

Happiness looks like a magnolia tree blooming in your front yard

Happiness smells like coming outside to smell the grass after it is freshly mown

Happiness is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Anger is the colour of blood red fire swooping over you.

Anger smells like smoke pouring out of the oven as your chocolate chips crumble to black dust

Anger looks like hot boiling water ripping apart your skin and stinging your tongue making your eyes burn

Anger sounds  like forks scraping across a plate making your ears bleed

Anger feels like you've been punched in the stomach making your face swell up with redness

Anger tastes like one million red hot spices have been shoved up your nose and down your throat making your eyes pour uncontrollably

Anger is like a volcano but don't let it control you
