Here is a piece of draft writing from a member of our class. This was part of a "quick write" 10 minute challenge - we all thought it was a great start!

I remember how fast I was going the sunlight track?

I remember how the moon lit the sky on that warm night?

I remember the way all my friends and I jumped into the salty water?

That was summer.

I remember that day on the wave with my friends?

I remember when I got smashed in ball rush?

Remember that perfect day – that was summer.
