Art Room Action

We've had an action packed term. The Art Room is looking great: It's full of colour and skilled work. The students will be bringing home their workbooks either this week or the first week in term three. These workbooks act as a report to parents. We hope you'll enjoy seeing what your child has achieved.
The Year Seven students have made Painted Flowers which look at learning about painting techniques and develops their painting skills. Next they created a Peacock which looked at developing ideas, drawing, painting and pastels work. Their final unit was Pop Art work inspired by Lichtenstein. They did a paper cutting collage and also a cat.
Year Eight students Artists Houses are now completed. I've been impressed with the development of ideas and skills exhibited in the students work.
