POM POM CHALLENGE!!!!!

Room 26 was humming on Monday afternoon - when we were attempting our first S.T.E.M. Challenge.
What does STEM stand for? Science - Technology - Engineering - Maths - in groups and with supplied materials Room 26 had to create a device that blasts a pompom into the air!
It was interesting to see how this challenge worked for different groups and how 'no idea' was a 'bad idea'. It was a great opportunity to see the SUPER 6 in action, in particular working collaboratively, problem solving and persevering.
Our reflections were honest and accurate and most of our inventions were successful - some more than others!!! I am looking forward to more science experiments and S.T.E.M. challenges!
