Toitu

Room 2 had a fabulous day at Toitu today.
Sara (Toitu Educator) took us through a variety of activities based around early Maori, Whalers and Sealers, Early Settlers to Dunedin & Chinese (Gold Rush). Dunedin is blessed to have such a beautiful museum and we were especially lucky to get to visit the Chinese Gardens.
This visit ties in wonderfully with our term topic 'Turangawaewae' and how we identify and connect with our past and present.
