HPV Reminder - Year 8 only

Dear parents/caregivers,
The Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine is now part of the New Zealand National Immunisation Schedule for both boys and girls in year 8 at school. This programme is delivered by Public Health Nurses in schools throughout the Otago region.
Please find attached a formal letter from Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand
Nicola Ellis - Public Health Nurse will visit our school on the morning of 17th February to present an educational overview about HPV to the Year 8 students and distribute the consent forms for the National HPV Vaccination programme. Those families who do not want their child to be present at the meeting need to let the school office know before the 17th please.
These forms must be returned to the school office with your vaccination preference completed by February 28th.
