Message from the Principal

It has been an excellent year.  Thank you to all students, parents,  teachers and community members for making 2015 a very successful year for Balmacewen. There are quite literally too many events and performances to single out for special mention.  I'm sure everyone will have their own particular favourite memories that they will take with them.

Thank you and well done to our Year 7 students. As a group they have been outstanding in their attitude and ability to work together. I look forward to welcoming them back next year as school leaders and watching them continue to develop and grow.

Our Year 8 group complete their final year at Balmacewen and will no doubt be nervously excited about their next schooling adventure. I wish the Year 8's all the very best for the future and look forward to following their progress at high school. It is always great to see former Balmac students performing with distinction at high school.

Thank you to all the hard working staff of Balmacewen. The commitment and energy that goes into our programmes is exceptional and helps create a very positive and happy work environment. Thank you for your continued support of our students and the way in which your represent Balmacewen.

Finally to all parents, caregivers and extended families I wish you all a very happy and safe Christmas break. If this year ends your association with Balmacewen, then thank you and best wishes. For those returning, we look forward to working with you again next year.
