The 2022 school year has certainly flown by. We appreciate all the assistance that our Year 8 whanau have provided as it certainly enabled us to provide a rich programme.
During 2022 the students have blossomed in all areas. Whether developing teamwork skills, or displaying independence within their learning... we would like to congratulate the students on their growth in all aspects of their schooling. The focus on our school values will certainly aid their transition into high school.
There are a lot of fun activities planned including the Class Day Out, Summer Splash, Year 8 Touch Tournament and Year 8 Social. Teachers are constantly referring to the expectations newsletter that came home at the start of the term which reminds the students how important it is to keep applying their best efforts and to display kindness to all.
It was pleasing this year to see so many students applying themselves in class and getting involved in extracurricular activities. Taking this can-do attitude forward will see your child make the most of the high school years. We would like to wish both you and your child all the best for 2023.
Enjoy quality time together over the festive season.
