Year 8 Pies

The final pies of the year have been made with the Year 8's.
The smells were amazing as sauces were made from scratch: Sweet and sour pork, Teriyaki pork, butter chicken, creamy leek, mushroom & chorizo, and vegetarian curry, were among the flavours wafting around. We even had a chicken and chip and a lasagna Pie. Homemade pastry that was golden and flakey, and a juicy filling that spilled out when bitten into. Some had a creamy soft potato top, while others had a pastry lattice woven on top.
