The Y8 made some amazing Pies

The second group of Year 8 students made their pies over the last 2 weeks.
The smells were amazing as sauces were made from scratch. Sweet and sour pork, butter chicken, were among the flavours wafting around. We even had a Fish and chip, a chicken nugget, a burger and a chicken schnitzel pie. Homemade pastry that was golden and flakey, and a juicy filling that spilled out when bitten into. Some had a creamy soft potato top, while others had a pastry lattice woven on top. Check out the pies in the gallery below.
