Hockey season 2023

We had 3 teams entered in the competition this year and we were lucky to have great support from parents coaches and managers for all teams. 

The Blue hockey team have had a very successful season in the top pool and are playing in the final tonight for 1st and 2nd. All the best to this team.

Our red team did well in the development grade and had some great wins and close loses over the season. 

Our green team had a few new hockey players in their team. They have made some great improvements over the season.

There are some promising year 7 players in all teams who we hope to see trialing and playing again for Balmacewen next year.

All the best to our year 8 players who will hopefully go on to play full field hockey at their high schools next year.

We also have a hockey team selected to participate at the Koru games in Christchurch at the end of this term. All the best to these students.

A very big thank you to our coaches and managers who have volunteered their time to help these teams throughout the season. We truly couldn't do it without you all. 

We have a prize giving and team photos for all teams on Monday 28th August at lunchtime.
