Y8 Pies

The Year 8 have designed and completed their pies. Some really creative ideas are out there...
The smells were amazing as sauces were made from scratch. Sweet and sour pork, butter chicken, creamy chicken & mushroom, and vegetarian curry, were among the flavours wafting around. We even had a chicken and chip and Pizza Pie. Homemade pastry that was golden and flakey, and a juicy filling that spilled out when bitten into. Some had a creamy soft potato top, while others had a pastry lattice woven on top.
