Y7 Artists Explore Painting Techniques

We are off to an exciting start in Art. The Year 7 students have been exploring Painting Techniques.
The techniques we have been learning are: tone which includes blending, scriffito, using a credit card, stippling, a wash, movement and dry brushing. We have also been learning about mixing, brush control, developing ideas and drawing. We are now ready to start our painting projects: Occupational Cats, Peacocks and Big Letters.
