Autumn

The breeze quickens as the pure white clouds zoom by, rushing away like the cars down the street. A reddened leaf departed with a few friends, dancing to the other side of the garden.

The spots of dew on the grass were contained in small bubbles, making the grass incredibly slippery but not enough for the dirt to soften. It was almost as if the ground summoned the rain because soon enough there were small droplets falling from the sky above. The concrete below darkened with every drop of moisture and the fallen leaves were slowly sinking away into the gutter.

Small critters quickly ran away, hiding under small bushes, sheltering from the rain. The clouds moulded together creating a dark scenery, covering the sun's light and warmth. The fog seemed to swallow its surroundings because after a while whole buildings were covered with an airy grey paint.

The wind flowed through the trees violently shaking the branches, almost as if it was trying to wake them up. The wind continued to gather loose objects, whipping them around like puppets performing a show.

Chimneys puffed out smoke as the air grew colder and the rain more fierce. Everyone was trying to trap some warmth as this storm wrapped it’s grey arms around the city.
