Kia ora families and friends
It is amazing to think that there are just five weeks left for your child at Balmacewen Intermediate.
The next 4 weeks will see the students working extremely hard to complete the Challenge units of work. These programmes will see the students implement the numerous skills they have been developing over the last 2 years. From our experience Term 4 summarises the foundations to springboard into their high school life.
There are a lot of fun activities planned, especially in the last two weeks at school. These include Challenge Day Out, Year 8 Social, School Swim and Classroom Activities. Teachers are constantly referring to the expectations newsletter that came home at the start of the term, reminding the students how important it is to keep applying their best efforts in all endeavours.
Each child has received an informational newsletter about the Challenge Day Out and we wish the students all the best in their fundraising endeavours. The Job Contract has been the most popular fundraising option and numerous parents have enjoyed their children completing odd jobs around the home. Keep working them hard!
A big thankyou to all parents / family members who have helped with our Triathlon and Art Gallery visits this term. We really do appreciated your support in helping provide memorable experiences for all students.
Kind Regards
