Girls Football Festival - Forsyth Barr Stadium.

It's not every day you get a chance to play in one of the world's finest stadiums.
Balmacewen Intermediate entered 3 teams at last weekend's football festival hosted by Football South. This ran all day, giving girls aged 14 years and below a chance to show their skills in a glorious environment. This was a great opportunity to score some goals without the pressure of a win or loss. The girls played excellently whilst displaying sportsmanship and remembering to enjoy themselves; parents too!
Hopefully next time they play here there's 30 000 cheering fans!
