Poho kererū is a term used in Te Ao Māori which means to be full of pride, like the (wood pigeon) with its chest puffed out displaying all its beauty to the world.
This term represents our Balmacewen Kapa Haka rōpū who performed at polyfest during Te Wiki o te Reo Māori. All students can be extremely proud of their efforts representing themselves, their whānau and our kura. Mauri ora!
