What's Hot in the Kitchen?

We welcomed new groups into Food Technology this term, and we have also changed the main focus in the Year 8 programme, so lots of fun in the Food Room.
The last group of Year 7 students have made a great start in the foods room. All 3 groups have completed the first unit - A day on a Plate, focusing on measuring and cutting skills while learning how to follow a recipe and use the oven and microwave.
We have made smoothies, scones, pizza, muffins, stir-fry, crumble, sushi and cookies. All students have been sent the recipes via their email so no excuses for not cooking dinner for you!
