What's hot in the kitchen with the Year 8's?

The third group of Year 8's have completed their time in the Foods room.
Over this term, the 3 classes have cooked, designed, modified, weighed, measured and evaluated many different recipes. They have designed their own pies, made pastries, sauces and iced biscuits. Some have been very creative with their flavours while others have been traditional. We finished with our Mystery Box challenge which is judged by their classroom teachers. This term saw some fabulous creations from 4 basic ingredients that can be found in most homes.
All students have been emailed the recipes so they can recreate or redesign them for you at home. Happy Cooking over the holidays.
