What autumn is for me.

Lying on the damp morning grass, I listen to the sounds of autumn.
Birds chirrup and tweet playfully, Darting across the crisp blue sky.
Unfortunately, most of the trees at my house are evergreen so we don’t get many leaves on the ground at my house but when we do we always rake them up into piles and jump in them.
A smile creeps across my face as I think back on fond memories of my mum and I scrunching around in the dry, dead leaves. Jubilee park is also one of my favourite places to go in the autumn because leaves are always strewn everywhere and the colours are magical.
Autumn means a lot to me but most importantly it reminds of the little things in life. The tiny little simple things that make you, and people around you happy. It reminds me of my family and of being kind. That such simple things can make a huge difference.
That’s why I love autumn.
