Room 5 and 6 camp was a hit!

We were very lucky with the weather when we walked the Millennium Track - we had a beautiful sunny 23 degree day! Everyone displayed amazing perseverance and a positive attitude as they hiked up some very steep and in some places, very muddy hills!
Our first night at camp was filled with a camp quiz (the parents won this!), a beautiful meal that the parents cooked to perfection and a game of sleeping soldiers that had 5 winners! We were late to bed for our first night! This led to tired and red eyed children on Thursday morning.
On Thursday we had an action packed day of archery, rifle shooting, brain teasers, cooking pancakes on the camp cookers, confidence course, initiative course and the amazing flying fox. Thanks to our excellent parent helpers who were legends in making these activities successful.
In the afternoon we had an awesome time on the camp water slide.
Thursday night was the camp concert - loads and loads of laughs were had! Well done to all those that participated.
We had an 'early' night on Thursday -asleep by 11pm!
Friday we had our final camp activity of geocaching, this was a whole lot of walking up hills and through the forest to find geocaches - a modern day treasure hunt! This activity was supported by our awesome parents!
Overall, it was an exceptional 3 days with the great room 5 and room 6.
Many thanks to our parent community who supported us at camp.
