Year 7 news, July 2018
By Beth Downie | Posted: Tuesday July 3, 2018
It is hard to believe we are at the end of Term 2. It has been a great term for the Year 7 team thinking like scientists and getting stuck in to the school full steam ahead inquiry.
We have also had the privilege of having Jack Green from NZ Rugby League coming in for 4 weeks and teach us the fundamentals of Backyard League. All pupils enjoyed learning new skills for a sport they knew little about.
Many thanks to the parents that attended our pubertal change meeting on Wednesday night. It was good to be able to discuss the content of our Change unit of work. If you were unable to attend the meeting but wish to view the content, please do not hesitate to get in touch with your class teacher.
In Term 3, we also plan to visit the Art Gallery and have been in touch with the Anatomy Museum, Forsyth Barr Stadium and UniPol for visits to those amazing facilities also.
We all are really looking forward to discussing your child's report that is coming home today at a parent interview in Week 1. Please book these in as soon as you can .
As always, thank you for your ongoing support.
Beth Downie and the Year 7 team.
