We are full steam ahead in the Library

 Library has started with a bang, new classroom and lunchtime librarians have been appointed and over 130 applications were received for these two positions.  I'm glad to see that students still want to be in the Library and earn their badges with the various duties. 

 Summer Reading Packs have come back, books have been purchased and students are learning to navigate the OPAC and manage their own Library accounts.  In a school our size the only way to get the best books is to know how to reserve.

I do, however,  need some help.   If you have some spare time and feel confident covering books please email me at gfisher@balmacewen.school.nz   I am snowed under at the moment and would love someone to take some books away and get them covered for me.    Thanks Gill
