Choral workshop

Balmacewen hosted a choral workshop recently with the other local intermediate schools.
A number of our choir students enjoyed participating in our choral workshop in week 8.
We hosted students from DNI and Tahuna Intermediate.
The day involved sharing some of our own songs and learning new songs from the teachers who came along. We also learned a song that has been recorded by Rosalind Manowitz as part of New Zealand Music Month celebrations.
The day finished with a concert in the afternoon featuring all of the songs we learned during the day and an item from the teachers.
Thanks to Mrs Mepham and Mrs Frame for their hard work in organising an enjoyable and successful day.
