Player Development Opportunities in 2024:
Get Ready for the Season (All based at the Edgar Centre): This programme is for players in Years 1-8
Y7/8: A four-week programme held on Thursday afternoons during May that is designed to give all players, whether they are new to netball or have played previously, an opportunity to get ready for the upcoming netball season. It is an opportunity to develop the basic skills, understand the basic rules of netball, and be able to gain the Bronze Award in our NetballSmart Programme.
Programme dates: May 2, 9, 16, 23
Year 7 from 4pm – 5:30pm
Year 8 from 6pm – 7:30pm
Cost: $78 Per person

Year 7 and 8 Development Programme:
This is a four-week programme running on a Wednesday Afternoon in July and August at the Edgar Centre. All players who register for the Year 7 & 8 Development Programme will be exposed to coaches who will help develop netball skills, NetballSmart awareness and team building. The programme includes two development tournaments in Balclutha and Dunedin. No trials will be held, rather players will be randomly assigned to teams. All players are welcome.
Programme Dates: 24, 31 July; 7, 14 August: 4:30pm – 6pm
Development Tournament Dates:
Sunday 4 August – Balclutha
Sunday 18 August – Dunedin

Holiday Programmes 2024
In 2024 Dunedin Netball are running holiday programmes in April and July. This programme has been enjoyed by many over the years. Every day is different, and every programme includes lots of netball specific activities, game play and fun "downtime" activities.
Our holiday programmes are well attended so numbers may be capped, and registrations closed early if maximum capacity numbers are reached.
April Holiday Programme:
Date: Monday 22, Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 April
Time: 9am - 3pm
Venue: Edgar Centre
Ages: Year 1-8
Cost: $150 for 3 days, or $60 per day
Registrations will close on the 17th of April.

Join the Steel for a day of fun skills and game sessions on Sunday the 7th of April.
Years 1 - 6: 10am - 11:30am
Years 7 - 10: 12pm - 1:30pm
