Term 2 has come to an end!!

We had 5 teams create co2 Dragster cars, allowing for pupils to investigate aerodynamics and streamline concepts. This culminated in a drag race competition which ultimately was won by the Risky Roosters (Ollie, Jacob, Liam, Corey, Ronan, Nic.

Science Fair played a major part both inside and outside the classroom with a dedicated effort put in by the majority of the class. Special mention goes to Ashwin, Bill, Ollie, Shima and Ronan who received awards/certificates for their investigations.

We explored Netball, Basketball and Futsal as part of our Large Ball Skills focus. 

Multiplicative strategies was a major part of our maths for the term and pleasing improvements were made by all. For our Mega Maths Month results we started out with an avg of  59/100 to finish with 85/100 (44% improvement).

Writing was focused on a 'Moment in Time'. The students wrote a passage to match a video prompt, then we grouped 3 students together to make their Moment in Time a narrated track over the video. Check some of them out below.
