Balmacewen entered 2 teams in the ORL annual rugby league carnival on Friday 19th March at Kettle Park.
Balmac Red and Balmac Blue were in separate pools and both had 4 games each. Both got off to a great start with 24-8 wins over their opposition. Balmac Blue had 2 losses and 2 wins, and Balmac Red had 3 wins and 1 loss to the eventual winner - Taieri. Lots of learning and fun was had.
Both teams were amazing with their sportsmanship and attitudes on and off the field.
Big thanks to Mike Neill who helped out with coaching Balmac Blue on the day, and to all the parents and grandparents who stopped by and supported on the day.
