Year 7 Speech Finals

This term all our Year 7 classes completed a speech writing and presenting unit in their classrooms culminating in a Year 7 Final in Week 4.
Each syndicate ran a semi-final before selecting students to go forwards to the finals. We were once again so impressed with the confidence, writing and presenting of the final speeches. So many interesting and varied topics from birth order to global warming, we enjoyed listening to the many varied and engaging topics. We would like to thank our judges from Otago Girls High School - Jo Nielson and Charlotte Hayward who gave up their time to select the overall winners. Well done to Toby - third place, Brooke runner up and Freya who won the Year 7 Speech Cup.
