Writing a Recount - Point of View

It was another hot, sunny day at the beach. My lips were cracking from the sea salt as I sat on my board above the crystal blue water, waiting patiently for the perfect wave.
I saw the enormous wave hurtling powerfully towards me. I paddled furiously. Although I was scared, I still lept into it as the wave began crashing intently over my head. It was beautiful, the glimmering of the rushing wave beneath my feet.

Whoosh! I was speeding and weaving around all of my friends, locals and tourists. Then I saw a death defying tunnel. It was as dark as the night sky and gloomy like the depths of the ocean.
(Blake)
I raced into it, water cascading over me, shimmering brilliantly like a diamond. Then It started to collapse rapidly! I surfed as fast as a lightning bolt and shot out the wave just as it decimated.
I will never forget that buzzing excitement of the moment or see something more beautiful as that amazing tunnel of water.
