Welcome back to Term Two!!

This term our major focus will be on looking at Science investigations and innovation and design. Our big questions look at can you prove it, make it, design it, create it! At the end of the term you will present your ideas and findings in our school Science and Technology Fair.  Other topics we will look at include an integrated theme approach based around Flight! For writing we will look at improving our writing skills looking at Moment in Time creative writing and them procedures/explanations. Some classes will have their Berwick Camp and later this term we have a large ball skills tournament at the Edgar centre. 

Last week as teachers we decided to take our syndicate planning meeting off site so we headed up to Larnach's castle to hold our meeting about all the things we want to do this term and to reflect on our great Term One.  We had a "High Tea" which included sandwiches, scones and sweets - accompanied by our individual choice of tea. It was great to be able to get out and explore our own city!!
