Notice of Strike Action by NZEI

Dear Parents and Caregivers

You may be aware that the primary teacher union, New Zealand Education Institute (NZEI) have voted to undertake strike action in response to ongoing contract negotiations.

This means that the school will be closed on Wednesday 15 August.

I appreciate that this will cause inconvenience to families and sincerely hope that NZEI and the Ministry of Education can reach agreement without further disruption.
