Year Seven Super Softies

The onset of Term 3 in the Fabrics room, signals the start of the Softie extravaganza!
All Year 7 students will spend half a term in the Fabrics room over the rest of the year. While in here, they will revisit using sewing machine again, learn a variety of hand stitches and then design and create their own soft toy incorporating both hand and machine sewing skills.
The first rotation of students are completing their softies this week which has been enhanced by having a Year 7 tech feast - with all tech classes having four sessions of Technology in week 4.
Below are a collection of the first softie masterpieces to be completed in Year 7 for 2016.
