Otago Triathlon

The inaugural Otago Triathlon was held in Cromwell on Thursday 31st March.
A huge well done to Felix Townend, Anna Divers, Charlie Savage, Becky De la Carpe and Jess Tyrrell who all competed as individuals in the Otago Triathlon on 31st March, after being placed in the Dunedin Triathlon early in the month. They were competing against other zone winners from Central Otago and South Otago schools. There was a host of talent competing. Year 7 and 8 athletes were required to run 3 km, bike 9 km and swim 150 m as individuals or as a team. All our students completed the enduring course as individuals and performed extremely well. Well done to Becky who finished 4th in the Year 8 girls and with only 8 seconds separating 2nd, 3rd and 4th placings, it was a very impressive performance from her.
