Carinn worked at lunch time once a week to complete a bookshelf for Amber. Carinn used four types of wood in the construction of the shelf. The decoration has been finished to be tactile as well as visual by adding sawdust to the paint. A fun and useful project.
The steps have been installed at the rear of the maths extension room. They are being used regularly as steps and more often as a seat by students. A great dual purpose outcome.
Students have been developing new skills with a variety of tools, both on school projects and in their own time. It is good to see the focus and effort to extend their skill development.
