The Year 8 Staff would like to take this opportunity to thank the families and friends of our students for the support you have provided over the year. We appreciate working with you in partnership to provide the varied activities that have added to our programmes.
Over the year the students have grown in confidence, from displaying leadership skills, through to showing self-responsibility for their work and actions. We would like to congratulate the students on their development in all areas of their schooling. The foundations we have set will suit them well for the years ahead at high school, especially the focus on our core school values.
Term 4 has seen us cover one of our most important units of work including...
- From the Shadows Life Education Bus visit
- Understanding Changes At Puberty programme.
Hopefully your child has shared the messages of these lessons with you. Being able to talk to parents and families about the challenges of puberty is an important strategy to successfully navigating these pressures.
We would like to wish both you and your child all the best for the next chapter of their schooling. It is pleasing to see so many students applying themselves in class and getting involved in extracurricular activities. Taking this can do attitude forward will see your child make the most of the high school years.
We wish everyone a happy and safe festive season.
