Choir

On Sunday, August 6th the Balmacewen Intermediate School Choir sang at a special concert to farewell Olivia Pike.
Olivia has been working in the Music Department at school for several years, but now heads to the Boston Conservatory of Music to continue her study to become a professional opera singer.
Getting into the Boston Conservatory is a huge achievement, as Olivia was one of only 10 chosen from hundreds of singers from 45 countries.
We were very happy to celebrate Olivia's success and be part of this exciting concert.
Our choir sang 3 songs, plus a farewell song ("I Hear the Call") with Olivia and the combined choirs, accompanied by Susan Frame (piano) and Jo Brusse (cello).
