School Council Round Up

This term the school council has run a mufti day and Round-Up Wednesday to raise money for our chosen charity - The Cancer Society.
Instead of doing Daffodil Day, a traditional way to raise money for the Cancer Society, the School Council held a mufti day where we encouraged people to wear yellow. The turn out was great. Class photos were taken and the 2 class winners were Rooms 5 and 6. The same week we also had 'Warm-Up Wednesday' where students could order pizza or buy a hot Milo at lunch time. We raised over $360 on this day. Thank you to everyone who has contributed.
We are also raising money to purchase something to put back into the school next term. We have had lots of great suggestions from classes and are currently researching and pricing items and hope to be able to donate some things next term at a school assembly.
