2017 Kiwi Hoops Basketball Coaching Courses

What: Entry level coaching course for parents/teachers of Kiwi Hoops’ teams (mini, bounce, all-star, or pro)
Why: Learn the basics of basketball, how to keep young kids interested, and to make trainings and games fun whilst being productive.
When: 3 Dates to Choose From
3rd May at Otago Girl’s High School Gym from 6.30-8pm,
24th May at Otago Girl’s High School Gym from 6.30-8pm,
or during the Kiwi Hoops Day Tournament at the Edgar Centre at the beginning of Term 2 (date and time TBD)

2017 Community Basketball Coach Course
Offered by Basketball Otago in conjunction with Basketball New Zealand
Who: This level is for coaches of secondary school players (ages 13 to 18) and adult players in clubs and associations. (club teams any grade, high school teams any age and grade)
Why: Learn teaching strategies, drills, training plans, season plans, player development and build your knowledge base as a keen basketball coach.
When: 7th of June from 6.30-8.30pm at Otago Girl’s High School Gym.
