Year 7 and Fabrics 2017

It is a busy term for Year 7 students in the fabrics room. There is a lot of new learning being done and after nearly 5 weeks, they all will have a lovely striped or patched cushion.
Year 7 students have learned the parts of a sewing machine, they can now independently thread up their machine and have passed their sewing licence! Their cushion inner has been made and we are onto selecting a patterned fabric to create their striped and/or patched outer cushion. Below are some photos of students at work.
