Ukelele jam

Balmacewen hosted this year’s mini ukulele Jam, “Jam on the Hills” where students from Kaikorai, Maori Hill, and Wakari Primary schools joined together with a group of Balmacewen students for some ukulele fun.
After not being able to have a Ukulele Jam last year it was wonderful to be able to have a fantastic morning of some great playing and amazing singing.
A special feature of the morning was having local musicians Tomuri Spicer and Anna Feillet as special guests performing and teaching to us some of their ukulele songs that have won recent song writing competitions.
