What's hot in the kitchen with Year 8's

Pies, Pavs, Biscuits and Brulees - we have made them all!
The Year 8's have made all types of pastry and created some yummy food with them. This half of the term has seen their designer pies being created, iced their biscuits, played with chocolate and made creme brulee-style custard. We finished off with the Mystery Box Competition and again lots of creative and yummy food being made. The classroom teachers came in and judged the creations with much deliberations going on to choose a winning group. Its always a hard job. Its been a term packed full of flavour and interesting combinations.
All their books will be coming home on Tuesday with their reports and recipes from the term. Good luck for High School and all the best with your future cooking endeavours.
