Illustrating our Mihimihi.

A few days ago room 25 created an image representing their mountain and river (Te Awa, Te Mauka).
The first thing we had to do was find out where we were from and the land we associated ourselves with.
We then used black A3 paper and koru’s (to represent a new beginning) to fill our mountain and river.
Chalk was used to clearly outline each shape and lastly we chose three different coloured pastels to colour everything in, creating a bold and vibrant finish.
