Here are a sample of our 'Moment in Time' Camp writing.

I saw the others going down, screaming, hard as possible, after all - That was the challenge. Scream. I felt the straps around me, this will keep me up?! I thought, it seemed to work with everyone else, so why not me.

I took a deep breath in as the buckle clipped on the line. Someone opened the gate.

"Go whenever," they said. Immediately I jumped off, screaming out, trying to keep a constant rate, most others took breaths in between.

I was going to win, but i was so focused on shouting I forgot to enjoy it, I guess I'll have to go again.

Mission 2:

Goal: Enjoy the ride

Status: incomplete

I Jumped once again, remember, don't concentrate on screaming. Enjoy the ride, I hit the tires, WHAT! I was so focused on enjoying it I forgot to enjoy it, Mission 2: FAiled

Mission 3: Goal: Don't Overthink it. Status: ???

I hear the click, go time. My feet lifted up, all my weight went to the rope. Wow its quite nice from up here. what an incredi- THUMP, THAT WAS IT! Enzo

Water Slide...

It was time, I was pumped and energized. I could barely see because of all the water spraying on my face like hail falling from the sky.I could hear the distant yells of kids and the blur of people going up the hill. There was a drop, SMASH. The water hit your face like a cannonball, I was tumbling around and a massive spray hit all the people at the bottom. Back up the hill we go-  I was puffing! My  legs were burning from all the running up the hill and  the line was getting shorter- yay more go’s. Zoom, run, zoom, run then they  said “last go". I was disappointed but excited for the shower and warm clothes. Mackley

Archery Tag

I could feel my steamy sweaty breath filling up my hot mask by the second. Sprinting towards a mass of arrows. It felt like a knight going into the battle bow at the ready. My heart pounded as I picked up an arrow and ran back to shelter. Arrows were flying, teammates were running enemies were falling.

I felt ready. I could smell victory, I could see victory. It was so close.

I targeted my prey arrow at the ready. I took a step out of the shelter and then it felt like the world froze as my hand let go of my arrow. That's when it happened we won! I couldent believe it. I got the last person! But these thoughts didn't really matter as one thought filled my mind now, having another game.

The end Edward
