We have 7 teams playing at the Kensington Oval at the Metro Junior Competition this term.
Despite the disjointed start that covid is bringing us, we are enjoying getting out there and playing some great games.
We have 2 girls teams -The Balmac Pumas and Lions, and five boys teams - the Balmac Tornadoes, Cyclones, Hurricanes, Thunder & Lightning.
A number of students are also coming down to the oval early to referee juniors teams. They join a number of Tahuna students and are lucky enough to be mentored by 2 Otago Touch Referees while they are refereeing their games.
Thank you to the amazing teachers who have given up their time to coach these teams this term. We are also lucky enough to have some ex-balmac students who are giving up their time to help referee our games. We couldn't do it without them.
