The students have been building their relationships with both peers and staff, both within and out of the classroom. The Year 8 Team have all been thrilled with the effort and positivity that the students have displayed over the first 6 weeks. This has included the implementation of The Balmac Way, Te Ara Balmac, into all learning situations. It has been wonderful to see so many Year 8 students display both maturity and leadership skills within their daily endeavours.
The start of the year has seen everyone face a number of challenges and having clear lines of communication will be crucial in navigating these. Please do contact your teacher if there are any school work questions, pastoral information or other queries. When home and school work together then the outcomes for your tamariki (children) are enhanced. We look forward to meeting you at the upcoming parent-teacher interviews.
Next week you will receive comprehensive information about our Year 8 Camping programme.
