The Y8 Mystery Box Challenge

The highlight for many in Year 8 is the Mystery Box Challenge
Working opposite their partner they have worked with all term, with others from their tech class, they have to create a dish using their mystery ingredients.
The ingredients include a carb, protein, can of something and a fruit or vegetable. All things that can be found at home (or in a student flat) - nothing really strange or unknown to them.
Most items in the pantry are made available to them like onions, cheese, cream and baking staples. Herbs and spices are always a good go to.
This term we had some of the most creative and tasty dishes produced.
