Our Jam-packed First Weeks At Balmacewen Intermediate

We kicked off our term with some art. With Mrs Cooper we have made lizards with our names inside them which are vibrant and colourful.
Last week everyone started Tech. It was so much fun getting to know which one you were in and meeting new kids from other classes. The Tech groups were Hard Materials, Art, Fabrics and Foods.
Room 10 students had a great day of golf. They had a great opportunity on Tuesday for some Kiwi Golf with Melanie Harper on the Balmacewen fields. Luckily the sun shone while we worked on our golf swings.
Last week Room 10 and Room 15, our year 8 buddy class, had a game of bucketball on the field beside the astro turf. Our game of bucketball was exciting and competitive.
We have had lots of fun in our first three weeks and we are looking forward to the challenges we'll face over the rest of the term.
